Overview
Nexter Living is a business entity within SCG’s internal system that helps launch startup businesses. Developing smart technological solutions for effective commercial building management and improved occupants livelihood, Nexter Living is best known for two of its subsidiaries: dooDeco and SCG Smart Building Solutions.
Seven Peaks’ primary role in the project is to support Nexter Living’s growth with a new back-office web platform, ONE dooDeco.. To achieve this, our team of Solution Architects, UX Researchers, and Product Designers collaborated with Nexter Living Cost Control, Procurement, and Management teams to streamline its end-to-end internal processes and remove operational bottlenecks.
Our Solution
Seven Peaks’ ONE dooDeco platform for Nexter Living does not only make data accessible across project teams but enhances visibility for real-time data updates, creating less room for errors. This new data management platform sets the foundation for Nexter Living’s future AI and machine learning models for further process optimization.

The Challenge
Nexter Living experienced issues with complex and fragmented quotation and procurement workflows which resulted in impeded growth and increased business risk.
Relying solely on disconnected tools like legacy spreadsheets for quotation management meant that the Nexter Living Cost Control team was heavily involved in manual data entry. While their color-coding approach used in the job designation process helps prevent human errors to a degree, the method is highly time-consuming.
With no unified data entry methods, shared documents often received unique data inputs from suppliers and third-party stakeholders in a non-standardized PDF format, leaving minimal space for the Nexter Living Team to combine new and existing data into a single source of truth.
Our Process
Seven Peaks’ approach to tackling the issues included diving head-first into the Product Discovery process in order to assess and de-risk all assumptions.
Phase one of our Product Discovery process involves conducting intensive Business and Design Thinking Workshops, defining clear user personas, and mapping out their existing as-is workflow. Later, we developed usability testing to validate our solution prototype before submitting it for client review and feedback.
For seamless, secure, and scalable integration with Nexter Living’s core accounting system, Oracle NetSuite, we designed a new high-level system architecture from data extracted from existing models.
We began the second phase of our enterprise development process by converting our roadmap into agile development sprints. This process involved centralizing fragmented job lists into one central repository, which would make it easier and more convenient for suppliers to submit quotations via a standardized portal.
