Determined to help businesses reduce the need for landfills, Be2Green, a technology-enabled service company, is on a mission to connect businesses that are looking for sustainable office furniture and equipment for their spaces with companies that are getting rid of their used furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).

Be2Green needed technical support to successfully develop a B2B platform and digitally transform its operations in order to consolidate industry’s valuable data. They needed a scalable and affordable digital solution— and fast.

 

Our solution

Seven Peaks was engaged to help Be2Green ease its transition into a full-fledged digital company. We provided the tools, manpower, and resources necessary to digitally transform  their entire operations cost-effectively. Our process

To better understand their business and build their application from the ground up in a way that responded fully to their needs, we carried out in-depth research during the discovery phase. This included matching operational process maps with technical flows, understanding current market practices, and the current data quality in the industry. We then moved onto the architecture design phase, where we brainstormed ideas to figure out the most effective and cost-efficient way to develop Be2Green’s new application.

With this initial research and ideation, we determined the scope of our project and began our app development process, creating functionalities, features and increments. Then, we tested out our latest addition to the prototype in order to receive user feedback.

This two-week process was repeated in each sprint cycle for every additional feature, change, or improvement to the app to ensure that everything was working properly. Once the final sprint cycle ended, we began deploying the product to user environments.

Challenges we overcame

1. Moving away from manual MVP

With their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) out in the market, Be2Green relied on manual labor and internal systems of operation to pick up office furniture from sellers and deliver them to customers in different geographies. This process was not only time consuming but gave them low online visibility that goes against the needs of their high-profile, digital literate customers.
