We created native Android and iOS apps along with a supporting application layer.
Allows sales agents to create & deliver up to date car insurance quotations, manage their existing customers, and finalize policy sales for immediate coverage.
We built a middle layer to support and implement additional features on top of the client’s existing core system. The application was deployed on-premise.
Viriyah sales agents can now conduct their business at any time, without the limitation of location or office hours.
Opening up direct sales channels for car insurance products on mobile
We created native Android and iOS apps along with a supporting application layer to allow sales agents to create and deliver accurate and up to date car insurance quotations, manage their existing customers, as well as finalize policy sales for immediate coverage. Everything right from their mobile phones.
Technology used
The challenge
The client has eagerly embraced mobile applications for many of their business processes from accident reporting and claims filing, to parts procurement, distribution and delivery.
However after all this time their sales channel remained firmly fixed to desktop-formatted websites, which has limited sales operations of their staff and indirect agents to when they are close to a bulky device capable of handling full screen web applications.
The solution
By developing native Android and iOS apps we were able to allow the client to leverage the benefit of a connected world where estimations, sales, quotations and renewals can all be handled from mobile devices.
Technologies such as GPS, high-resolution cameras on mobile devices, and optical character recognition were also used to assist the client to collect accurate and relevant information from the end customers to be used as part of their insurance policy applications.

Moving all these functions to a mobile device has created the potential for additional sales while at the same time increasing end customer’s satisfaction.
