Meet our speakers
Giorgio Desideri
Microservice Architecture
Giorgio will demonstrate and explain, using real-case examples, a possible microservice architecture for a common real-case scenario, using as a cloud provider Azure.
Nicolas Pierson
Monitoring your platform in the cloud has never been easier on Azure.
“Using the cloud is now the most common choice that every enterprise takes. It is now a challenge for companies to adapt their monitoring strategies to the cloud.” says Nicolas.
And meet our guest speaker
Jose Barbosa
.NET Conference Thailand
Senior Software Developer and organization leader at .NET Conference Thailand
Jose is a passionate software developer with over 8 years of experience developing software applications – with solid experience creating applications from scratch to production, monitoring and operations – he enjoys to work on projects where I can deliver the best value possible and understand the project needs.
Jose is also an organization leader of .NET Conference Thailand and currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at ThoughtWorks.
We will cover
Microservice architecture for real-case scenarios

Using the cloud is now the most common choice that every enterprise takes. Almost all the existing applications are based on the monolithic architecture, in force for business or migration reasons.
The evolution forward to the microservice architecture is demanded to the new application or to the refactoring of the previous ones, and this evolution is highly demanded due to the lowering of cost, resources and timing KPI / constraints.
Microservice architecture is an easy solution to choose, but not all the good proposals end with a good result. Design and development mistakes, lack of knowledge are some of the possible reasons, so during the meetup I will show you how to learn from these mistakes, how to proceed and, fortunately, give you a good point of start for your case.
Monitoring your platform in the cloud on Azure

Using the cloud is now the most common choice that every enterprise takes. It is now a challenge for companies to adapt their monitoring strategies to the cloud.
What is monitoring? What do we want to get out of it? Azure provides services to easily collect, aggregate events and metrics that can be monitored. During this meetup, I will show you a set of best practices and how to set up those services.
