Every year, millions of people unite on the third Saturday of September to take part in World Cleanup Day, a global movement to combat the waste crisis and create a cleaner planet. At Seven Peaks Software, we were proud to again be part of this worldwide effort. This year, our team joined forces with the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, Trash Hero and Starboard for a special community event in Bangkok.
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, our volunteers gathered for a “Paddle & Road Cleanup” event hosted by Starboard Co., Ltd. in Thailand. The cleanup was led by Eco Project Manager, Pitchapa Lekpetch, who guided over 100 dedicated volunteers through the effort. In just two hours, the combined team collected and sorted an impressive 391 kilograms of waste. This demonstrates the power of community action.
At Seven Peaks Software, participating in World Cleanup Day is central to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. We believe that true success goes beyond business outcomes to making a positive impact on the environment and our community. This year marked our third consecutive participation in World Cleanup Day, strengthening our long-term commitment. To deepen this impact and share our values, we actively encouraged our team to bring their families and younger generations to join the activity. This approach ensures our values of sustainability and community engagement are put into action across our entire network. The event was a fun and fulfilling team-building experience that strengthened our bonds, creating lasting, positive memories.
Several groups joined together to make the day a success. We want to extend a special thanks to Yara Africa and Asia for generously providing repurposed fertilizer bags to collect the waste. We also acknowledge the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce as a leader in promoting a cleaner, healthier planet. It was inspiring to work alongside so many other businesses from the Chamber's community who supported this meaningful event.
The positive impact of the day reinforces our commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen. We encourage everyone to support similar environmental efforts and become a part of the movement for a cleaner planet. Participating in World Cleanup Day is just one step in our ongoing dedication to sustainability and giving back to the community.
